Irish singer-songwriter, Ryan Dolan, today released a poignant and thought-provoking video in accompaniment to his latest single – Start Again.
The single, which comes after his upbeat summer stomper ‘Only Love Survives’, shows the amazing scope of Ryan’s vocals backed up a an emotionally charged full piece orchestra and lyrically tells a story that comes right from Ryan’s heart.
Accompanied by a video directed by the irrepressible Ovie Etseyatse, it takes on the task of highlighting current political and moral issues such as homophobia and suicide and proves one brave move for the fellow native north-westerner and one that I am fully behind and extremely proud to have been a part of.
Having had the pleasure of shooting the promotional shots to accompany the single (and spending a day with the cool, calm and collected main man himself) it’s important that such issues are brought to the forefront and Ryan and Ovie have done a great job in doing that both lyrically and visually.
